In September, the Woolworths Leadership Team hosted a livestream, where they provided a business update and presented their priorities, in the context of our customer, organisational change, operations, and our partnerships. Annette Karantoni, Managing Director of Woolworths Retail, was joined by members of her leadership team:

Annette introduced her Leadership Team, and provided an overview of Woolworths F25 Results. Financial results were presented having regard to challenges faced over the financial year, as well as areas of optimistic performance, and opportunity.
Annette shared a recap of our progress towards our 2025 top priorities:
- Driving value for customers
- Furthering our lead in convenience and loyalty
- Investing in our stores.
Looking forward, Annette presented our key focus areas over the coming months:
- Materially rebuilding price trust with customers,
- Collaborating with suppliers on a market leading plan,
- Executing a successful Christmas trading period.
Justin and Louis presented customer insights, revealing cost of living concerns remain a concern for customers, while cross-shopping and value-seeking behaviours increase.
Considering our customer’s context, Peter shared how rebuilding price trust and customer advocacy is a key priority in F26. While noting positive momentum in advocacy and value perception, he shared how we are mobilising to create meaningful promotions for our customers, ensuring the right products are at the right price.

Together, Annette, Peter, Justin, and Louis shared how we plan to partner with you, our Trade Partners, to create better outcomes for everyone and, most importantly, for our customers. The team highlighted what’s working well with regard to our feedback channels and team capabilities, and where we need to focus our efforts, such as in store execution, forecasting, and simplifying processes.
Peter shared how we’re supporting our store teams with improved processes to execute with excellence, while Justin covered enhancements across our distribution network. With automation and expansion, he discussed how we can work together to improve outcomes for our customers.
Closing out, Annette shared insights into how customers are feeling and planning in the lead up to the festive trade season. She shared some practical tips for consideration, to help our teams work Better Together through our busiest season.
